Leadership, Orientation and Guidance for Operational Support (LOGOS) is a flagship programme that equips the next generation of field leaders, particularly prospective Chiefs/Directors of Mission Support (C/DMS), to lead effectively in complex, field-based environments.

Leadership, Orientation and Guidance for Operational Support (LOGOS) is a flagship programme that equips the next generation of field leaders, particularly prospective Chiefs/Directors of Mission Support (C/DMS), to lead effectively in complex, field-based environments.

This eight-month journey is designed to spark a shift from a technical to a strategic mindset, fostering behavioural change and developing the leadership skills needed to guide both strategic direction and operational execution.

LOGOS combines in-person and online components with experiential learning, peer-to-peer exchange, reflective practice and executive coaching. Participants are guided by seasoned C/DMS leaders and benefit from insights shared by UN subject matter experts.

Rooted in behavioural science, the programme explores core leadership themes such as presence and authority, systems thinking, influence, strategic decision-making and feedback. By emphasizing human-centred competencies and aligning with the UN Values and Behaviours and the UN Leadership Framework, LOGOS promotes a forward-looking, impactful approach to operational support.
